Job summary

Hudson Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our team. The role provides clerical, customer service, and technical support including phlebotomy and specimen processing to support the Lab Department and positive patient outcomes.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be proficient with MS Office, and experience with Laboratory Information Systems. Phlebotomy experience is preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible schedule for 0.5 FTE or greater.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Lab Assist to join our team! The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for providing clerical, customer service, and technical assistance including phlebotomy and specimen processing, for the Lab Department in support of positive patient outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Computer proficient with MS Office
• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems
• Excellent customer service skills required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prefer a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a detailed, fast paced clinical laboratory environment including phlebotomy
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred
