Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on the North Olympic Peninsula seeks a dedicated team member for its Laboratory. You will handle outpatient registration, test ordering, processing of outpatient specimens and phlebotomy for hospital and outpatient clients, while delivering reliable courier services.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and timely processing. A BLS is required; phlebotomy certification must be obtained within 90 days if assigned, and a valid WA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with Lab and Hospital information systems is desirable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Will provide quality customer service and courier service to patients served by Olympic Medical Center Laboratory.
• Handle outpatient registration, test ordering, processing of outpatient laboratory specimens, and hospital and outpatient phlebotomy.
• Answer customer service calls and provide efficient courier services as assigned.
