Job summary

Actalent is seeking a contracted-to-hire phlebotomy technician in Santa Barbara, CA. You will coordinate patient flow, process specimens for external labs, and enter in-house test results into the EHR.

You will also manage supplies and liaise on invoices, while keeping the clinical environment clean and stocked. Entry-level to mid-level candidates with CA phlebotomy credentials and Spanish bilingual abilities are preferred, with required lab experience and licenses as noted.

Qualifications

• Must have valid California Phlebotomy license is preferred.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• 1 year lab experience required.
• Bilingual in Spanish a must.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and flow by updating charts, rooming and check-in/out.
• Process specimens to be sent to outside laboratory.
• Review and process orders from EHR for laboratory testing of patients.
• Record in-house test results in the EHR system.
• Inventory and order laboratory supplies; review laboratory invoices for AP.

Inventories and orders all laboratory supplies and reviews laboratory invoices for accounts payable. Cleans and restocks laboratory equipment and supplies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
