Job summary

Trinity Health in Syracuse is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to contribute to receiving and processing specimens in the Laboratory by following established procedures and protocols. Responsibilities include potential patient registration duties and performing a variety of clinical laboratory tasks, with day shift hours from 7a to 3:30p and rotating weekends and holidays, depending on the schedule.

This role requires accurate data entry, effective communication, and adherence to safety & quality

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Computer knowledge preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory procedures related to receiving and processing specimens following established procedures.
• Receive patients and assist with registration duties as determined by the Manager.

Pay Range: $21.75 - $28.10

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
