Geisinger Medical Center is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to provide day-to-day supervision of testing personnel and ensure high-quality laboratory results. This role emphasizes collaboration to standardize procedures across the lab and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in MLS/Medical Technology with ASCP/NAACLS accreditation and at least 5 years of laboratory experience. A $12,500 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in MLS/Medical Technology or related field with ASCP/NAACLS accreditation.
• ASCP categorical certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day technical supervision of testing personnel.
• Ensure standardization through collaboration across the department.
• Analyze technical problems and resolve according to policies.
• Review test results and QA/proficiency records.
• Assist in development of new testing methods and equipment evaluation.
