Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing is seeking a Laboratory Analyst in Barberton, OH to prepare and analyze environmental samples following GMP/GLP guidelines and standard Eurofins procedures. The role involves working with instruments such as GC, GC/MS, AAS, and ICP under close supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a BS/BA in chemistry or related field, has 1–2 years of lab experience, and demonstrates strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Professional working proficiency in English (read/write/speak).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• GMP/GLP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples per SOPs.
• Operate complex instrumentation (GC, GC/MS, AAS, ICP).
• Maintain general housekeeping and safety in the work area.
• Record, calculate, and report data to supervisor.
• Train and become competent on instrumentation.

Job Description

Eurofins Environment Testing is searching for a Analyst to join our team at the Barberton, OH site.

The Laboratory Analyst prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques according to scientific and environmental protection methodology in compliance with Eurofins programs and standard operating procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Responsible for general housekeeping in his/her work area
• Ability to become trained and competent on complex instrumentation including but not limited to gas chromatography, gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument specific data systems.
• Works under close supervision using routine and standard methods
• Aliquots and weighs samples
• Washes glassware
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Requirements

• BS or BA in chemistry or related field preferred
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines)Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• 1-2 years of previous laboratory exposure or experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Additional Information

Position will be Monday- Friday 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Pay Range: Starting at $18.00/hr- $20.00 based on experience.
