Job summary

SSA Containers, Inc. seeks an experienced Labor Relations HR Business Partner for its Draper, Utah operation. You will be the on-site HR and labor relations expert, aligning strategy with business objectives and guiding management through union-related matters.

You will navigate a broad HR stack—strategic, operational, and tactical—while ensuring compliance with NLRA, CBAs, and employment laws, and partnering with Legal and operations to drive engagement and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources with direct labor relations responsibilities in a unionized environment.
• Experience supporting labor negotiations and contract administration.
• Knowledge of NLRA and applicable employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead on-site labor relations advisor on employee relations matters.
• Support leadership, HR, Legal, and operations with on-site HR resources.
• Prepare for grievance meetings, fact-finding, arbitration, and labor relations committee meetings.
• Ensure compliance with NLRA, CBAs, and employment laws.
• Develop and implement recruiting strategies and manage leaves of absence.
