Job summary

The Association of California State Supervisors (ACSS) is seeking an attorney to join an experienced team defending the employment interests of state supervisors and managers in California. The ideal candidate will have experience representing public employees in administrative forums and knowledge of the State Personnel Board appeals process and CalHR grievance procedures.

The position is based in Sacramento with some telework.

Job description

The Association of California State Supervisors (ACSS) is looking for an attorney to join an experienced and cohesive team representing the employment interests of state-employed supervisors and managers.ACSS represents more than 13,000 members working as state supervisors and managers in every state department and agency.

The ideal candidate will have experience representing public employees in administrative forums and knowledge of the State Personnel Board appeals process and the statutory appeals/grievance process before the Department of Human Resources (CalHR).

The Attorney/Senior Attorney compensation is $8,773 to $14,319 per month with excellent benefits, including
