National Law Firm in Los Angeles seeks an experienced Labor & Employment Partner to join its growing Los Angeles office. The firm emphasizes a sophisticated national platform, advising major corporations on complex labor and employment matters with day-to-day counseling and sophisticated litigation.

Hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and a 1,750 annual billable-hour requirement. Equity and non-equity partner opportunities are available, with compensation structures including a guaranteed draw

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar admission.
• 8+ years of litigation experience in employment law.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters independently.
• Significant experience advising employers and/or handling employment litigation and disputes.
• Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases through all stages of litigation, including strategy, discovery, motion practice, settlement, and trial.
• Advise and communicate with clients regarding case strategy, developments, and potential outcomes.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, arbitrations, and settlement proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Evaluate legal issues and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Work collaboratively with paralegals and attorneys to prepare cases for trial.

The firm advises a diverse client base, including major corporations and other leading organizations, on complex labor and employment matters, combining practical day-to-day counseling with sophisticated litigation and dispute resolution.
