O’Melveny’s Silicon Valley Litigation Department is seeking an attorney with four to six years of experience for its Labor & Employment Practice Group. The role involves handling matters such as non-compete, trade secret, and employee mobility disputes; employee misconduct investigations; harassment, discrimination, and retaliation lawsuits and arbitrations; executive compensation disputes; employment law counseling; drafting employment, severance, and non-competition agreements; and supporting labor and employment law aspects of M&A transactions.
The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and have strong writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include working directly with clients, managing complex cases, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, mediations, and other tasks typical for mid-level associates.
The salary range in Silicon Valley for this role is $310,000 - $420,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
