Job summary

ScottHulse, P.C. is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with at least three years of relevant experience to join our dynamic and growing practice in the Borderplex region.

The role offers the chance to handle sophisticated labor and employment matters while enjoying a collegial, team-oriented environment in El Paso and Las Cruces. Ideal candidates will have strong litigation skills, legal research ability, and experience in client counseling; bilingual English/Spanish is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of litigation law experience.
• Strong trial advocacy, legal research, case analysis, and drafting complex pleadings.
• Excellent communication and client counseling skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills; ties to the Borderplex region desirable.
• Portable book of business preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated labor and employment litigation matters.
• Provide preventive advice and training, compliance and regulatory guidance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more of the following areas: trial advocacy skills and experience in legal research, case analysis, and client counseling, preventive advice and training, alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, compliance and regulatory matters, litigation, organized labor issues, changes in ownership and reductions in workforce, to name a few.
