Job summary

5 Legal seeks an associate to join its Employment and Labor Practice group in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of broad experience in employment counseling, especially in statutory and regulatory compliance, executive employment and separation agreements, and employment aspects of M&A transactions.

Some litigation and/or affirmative action plan experience is a plus. Qualified candidates should have strong academic credentials and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of broad experience in employment counseling, compliance, executive employment and separation agreements.
• Experience with statutory and regulatory compliance is important.
• Experience with employment aspects of M&A transactions is a plus.
• Some litigation and affirmative action plan exposure is beneficial.
