Job summary

Overlake Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Labor and Delivery. The role requires scrub experience for cesarean sections and versatility to assist in stocking and supporting vaginal deliveries, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Washington state licensure and CPR are required, NBSTSA certification preferred, and 1–2 years of L&D OR experience is desirable. The position is part-time (0.9 FTE) with nights and 12-hour shifts, and offers competitive benefits and pay

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program is required.
• Surgical Technologist licensure in Washington state required.
• NBSTSA certification preferred; CPR certification required.
• One–two years of Labor & Delivery OR experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Labor & Delivery with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Scrub and support in the operating room; stock and organize supplies.
• Provide compassionate, efficient care and multitask in a fast-paced unit.
