Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Labor & Delivery Surgical Technologist to join the Center for Women and Newborns. This full-time role operates on a 36-hour weekly schedule with a rotating shift and onsite work at 45 Francis Street.

The ideal candidate holds CST certification, has 2+ years of Surgical Tech experience (Labor & Delivery preferred), and is proficient in sterile technique. BLS is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• CST Certification required.
• 2+ years Surgical Tech experience preferred.
• Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred.
• BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields, instruments, and equipment.
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and procedural teams during surgical and obstetrical procedures.
• Maintain strict sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interprofessional team members to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
