Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery in San Antonio, Texas. The role is an ongoing staff position with a potential sign-on bonus.

You will provide nursing care to a matched group of patients under minimal supervision and complete required competencies during orientation. Minimum education is a nursing program graduate with a Texas RN license; preferred is a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse required.
• CPR/CPR-BLS: Must have active Basic Life Support on hire; AHA BLS within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (LABOR & DELIVERY).
• NRP must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (LABOR & DELIVERY).
• GNOSIS/Fetal Heart Monitoring training within 30 days; AWHONN Monitoring within 8 months.
• STABLE Level 2 Nursery certification proof or completion within 6 months of hire.
• PALS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role (PEDIATRICS).

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse.
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned.
