Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring patients and newborns in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will monitor maternal status, interpret fetal heart tracings, assist with deliveries, respond to obstetric emergencies, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions to postpartum care and continuity of services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal status and interpret fetal heart tracings to support safe delivery decisions.
• Assist with vaginal and operative deliveries, providing direct patient care throughout labor.
• Respond promptly and effectively to obstetric emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding and informed participation in care.
• Ensure safe transitions to postpartum care and ongoing continuity of services.
• Participate in quality improvement, research activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
