Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited nursing program.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years experience in Labor and Delivery or related field preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork with physicians and staff.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and L&D equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care for laboring mothers with obstetric teams.
• Monitor vitals, contractions, fetal heart rate; intervene as needed.
• Administer medications and epidurals per orders, IV fluids as needed.
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families.
• Document status and outcomes per guidelines.
