Job summary

100 Aurora Health Care Metro, Inc. is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit. The role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts (0.9 NIGHTS), every third weekend, holiday rotation, and on-call requirements.

Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred; occasional float to postpartum may be required. Pay range is $38.20-$57.30 per hour with benefits eligibility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the required state(s).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Telehealth/telenursing licensing requirements per state where client is located.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans, collaborate with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation and uphold safety culture.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.

Education

Board of Nursing approved nursing education program

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

RN license with multi-state compact and/or state privileges
