Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group, following established standards of care and the nursing process. The RN will supervise and direct activities of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.

Requirements include RN licensure in the state, BSN preferred, and CPR/BLS certification. ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required; acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and Work Experience: BSN preferred; Acute care facility experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: RN licensure in state of practice required; CPR/BLS certification required.
• Facility/Dept Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group following established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
