Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center in Florida is seeking an experienced RN for Labor and Delivery to provide autonomous, evidence-based patient care and leadership within a high-acuity obstetric unit.

You will collaborate with physicians and the health team to ensure optimal outcomes, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and support family education and comfort during care. A Florida RN license is required with relevant certifications up to date.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Two years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications required or renewals every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• The RN applies nursing process using evidence-based practices to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate and modify patient care.
• The RN practices autonomously within professional nursing standards and ANA guidelines.
• Leads collaborative patient care with other disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Assumes leadership in coordinating the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Acts as educator to peers, patients, and families; supports service excellence and budget needs.
