Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to provide direct patient care across diverse populations. The role includes nursing assessments, exams, treatments, and patient education, with emphasis on safety and documentation. Leadership duties may include charge nurse or preceptor responsibilities, contributing to unit governance and hospital initiatives in partnership with management.

Competenze

• RN Texas state licensure required; must obtain permanent license within 60 days if relocating
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification within 4 months
• NRP certification within 4 months
• FHMC Fetal Heart Monitoring cert within 4 months
• Twelve months RN experience in a healthcare environment
• Strong communication and English proficiency for safety and patient care
• Ability to communicate with patients, families and interprofessional team
• Ability to think critically and manage emergencies using the nursing process
