Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Location: 1050 W Galleria Dr, Henderson, NV 89011

Pay Rate: $75/hr

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights - 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Job Summary:

The Labor & Delivery RN provides specialized care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The nurse plays a critical role in ensuring safe delivery practices, monitoring for complications, and providing emotional and clinical support to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor and delivery
• Support obstetricians during deliveries and potential emergency procedures
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed
• Perform neonatal assessments immediately after delivery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Educate and support families through childbirth process
  
  

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Nevada
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience (preferred)
• Certifications Required:
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or Advanced)
