Job summary

George Washington University Hospital is seeking skilled nursing professionals for Labor and Delivery to deliver clinically advanced childbirth services in a teaching hospital setting.

You will work collaboratively with Advanced Practitioners and Providers in a high-volume center, contributing to complex birth cases and research initiatives while maintaining patient safety and care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS or PALS (or obtain within six months).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current state nursing license.
• Prefer 1 year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care.
• Requirements specified for specialty unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinically advanced childbirth services with a collaborative approach with Advanced Practitioners and Providers.
• Support teaching and research hospital environment and adapt to challenging birth situations.
