Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively.
• Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care.
• Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately, reporting changes to the care team.
• Utilizes knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care and education.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope and documents care.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities as appropriate.
• Educates patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Ensures infection control protocols and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Documents care and education thoroughly in medical records.
• Participates in audits, performance improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintains regular attendance and adheres to policies.
