Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery in Beckley, West Virginia. This full-time, in-person position requires an active RN license, an ADN or BSN, and certification timelines as described.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, timely nursing interventions, age-appropriate care, and precise documentation to support medical necessity. A strong candidate will have 1 year of experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate nursing interventions based on findings.
• Provide age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Document care accurately to support medical necessity in the record.
• Develop and revise interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
