Talented Medical Solutions in Bakersfield, CA is hiring an experienced RN for an in-office labor and delivery role. This on-site position focuses on monitoring, birth planning, postpartum care, and collaboration with obstetricians and the anesthesia team.

You’ll monitor maternal and fetal status, educate families on labor and postnatal care, assist with cesarean sections, maintain sterile technique, and participate in unit-based quality improvement to support safe deliveries and excellent

Qualifications

Active RN license with obstetric certifications preferred.
Minimum 2–3 years in labor and delivery or high-risk obstetrics.
Strong documentation and collaboration with obstetric and anesthesia teams.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including monitoring.
Lead birth plans, delivery progress, and postpartum care in medical records.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and nursing team for safe deliveries.
Monitor maternal and fetal status; identify deviations needing intervention.
Educate patients and families on labor, pain management, postnatal care.
Assist with cesarean sections and other operative deliveries as directed.
Maintain sterile technique and infection control during deliveries.
Participate in quality improvement and data collection initiatives.
