Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri seeks a Labor and Delivery nurse to care for women and neonates during labor, childbirth, and the postpartum period. You will provide comprehensive, family-centered nursing care, support families through birth, monitor fetal and maternal status, and respond quickly to any complications in collaboration with physicians and specialists.

This full-time day-shift role requires an RN licensed in Missouri, BLS within 90 days, ACLS within one year, and NRP

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Active RN license in Missouri required
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days
• ACLS must be obtained within one year of hire
• NRP must be obtained within one year of hire

Responsibilities

• Care for women and neonates during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Provide comprehensive, family-centered nursing care
• Recognize complications and act quickly to stabilize the patient
