Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods. Responsibilities include monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, managing emergencies, and coordinating care with the obstetric team.

Requirements include an RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications, and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. 1–2 years of L&D experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery or obstetric nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with fetal monitoring, labor management, and high-risk obstetric care is preferred.
• Active RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Fetal monitoring certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and continuously monitor maternal and fetal condition during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rate, contractions, vital signs, and other indicators of well-being.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments safely.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and respond to obstetric emergencies.
• Provide patient education and emotional support throughout labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide postpartum care and maintain accurate documentation and handoff.
