Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) to deliver and coordinate evidence-based care across the patient care continuum. The role emphasizes teamwork, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration to advance patient plans and outcomes.

The RN must hold an ASN or BSN, be licensed as RN in Indiana or NLC, and maintain BLS with potential for additional Life Support certifications as required by unit policy.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or an active NLC RN license.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA; other advanced life support certifications may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum: assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance patient plans and outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
