Job summary

Holy Cross Health seeks a Clinical Nurse in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate, expert care during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. You will work with a collaborative team and utilize EPIC to document patient progress.

The role requires 1–2 years in Labor and Delivery nursing, an ASN, Maryland RN license, and BLS. A BSN/MSN is preferred, and the unit supports professional growth and high-risk obstetric care.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ASN required, BSN or MSN preferred.
• Current Maryland RN license or compact state equivalent.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional life support certifications as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
• Monitor fetal heart tones, administer medications, and coach patients through labor.
• Anticipate and respond to complications using clinical protocols.
