Job summary

Riverside Health System in Onancock, Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care/Telemetry units. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate total nursing care for assigned patients under supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director.

The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, educate patients and families, and ensure timely, safe patient transitions while maintaining evidence-based practice and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• RN degree required; BSN preferred.
• RN licensure (State Department of Health Professions) required.
• CPR/BLS certification required; NRP required within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient clinical and psychosocial needs and develop a care plan.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Educate patients/families and document discharge instructions.
• Delegate and prioritize tasks to ensure quality patient care.
• Ensure documentation meets RHS standards and regulatory requirements.
