Job summary

Mercy Hospital of Folsom, part of Dignity Health, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery to provide compassionate, high-quality care and support patient recovery.

You will perform assessments, care planning, and skilled procedures while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting; a $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring experience
• Active Registered Nurse license in California (CA RN)
• BLS CPR - American Heart Association
• ACLS within 6 months
• NRP within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Performs total body and system assessments per unit standards.
• Care of Patient: Planning, implementing, evaluating, and educating.
• Clinical/Technical: Uses unit-specific procedures, protocols, and interventions.
• Documentation: Timely, legible, concise documentation; proficient with the electronic medical record.
• Leadership: Accepts responsibility and follows facility leadership direction.
• Precepting/Mentoring: Participates in orientation of new staff and mentors students.
