Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Topeka, KS. This assignment runs for 13 weeks at an acute care hospital with Epic charting and a 183-bed capacity. Shifts are 3, 12-hour days from 06:00 to 18:00.

Requirements include 1 year of experience with L&D, active KS or Compact license, and certifications such as BLS/NRP; more advanced obstetric skills are a plus. Start date is 10/07/2026, with 1 opening available.

Qualifications

• 1 Year experience required in labor and delivery.
• BLS, NRP, and related certifications preferred.
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics procedures is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care in a 183-bed acute care hospital.
• Monitor fetal status and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer IV medications, manage deliveries, and assist with C-sections.
