Prime Healthcare is seeking a Director of Nursing for Labor and Delivery at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA. The role provides 24-hour leadership, clinical oversight, and strategic direction for maternal child health services to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Ideal candidate has a BSN, GA RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, plus at least five years in perinatal nursing and two years in supervisory roles.
Formación
- Licensed RN with current Georgia licensure.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at hire and maintained.
- Minimum two years of supervisory/management experience.
- At least five years of perinatal nursing in an acute care setting.
- BSN required for all new hires after 1/11/2021.
Responsabilidades
- Provide 24-hour administrative and clinical oversight of Maternal Child Health Services.
- Direct, coordinate, and evaluate patient care delivery to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement departmental goals, strategic plans, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Lead departmental performance improvement activities and support organization-wide quality initiatives.
- Recruit, mentor, develop, supervise, and evaluate departmental personnel.
