Job summary

Incredible Health in Westwood, NJ is hiring a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) to join partner hospitals. You will monitor laboring patients, track fetal status, and collaborate with obstetricians and the care team.

Requirements include ADN or higher, an active RN license, 1+ year L&D/OB experience preferred, BLS and ACLS, plus proficiency with EHR systems and L&D equipment. Shifts: day or night; both full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license; no encumbrances.
• 1+ year Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, or related experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork; proficient with EHR and standard L&D equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers, in collaboration with obstetricians.
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates; intervene as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments, including epidurals and IV fluids.
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families.
• Document patient status and outcomes per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical equipment pertinent to Labor & Delivery

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers, working closely with obstetricians and other healthcare providers
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, making timely interventions as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and intravenous fluids
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process
• Document and report patient status, changes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines
