Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited program.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical equipment used in Labor & Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers in coordination with obstetricians and healthcare team.
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates; intervene as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments including epidurals and IV fluids.
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families during labor and delivery.
• Document and report patient status and outcomes per guidelines.
