Incredible Health is actively hiring a Labor & Delivery Nurse (RN) for a hospital in Torrance, CA. The role covers day and night shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with an ADN or higher and possess BLS/ACLS, plus experience in obstetrics and strong EHR skills. You will care for laboring mothers, monitor fetal status, administer medications, and support families through the delivery process in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher from an accredited program.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year of Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and standard medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement care for laboring mothers with the obstetric team.
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates with timely interventions.
• Administer medications and epidurals/IV fluids as prescribed.
• Provide emotional and family support throughout labor and delivery.
• Document patient status and outcomes per guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Obstetrics, or a related field preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical equipment pertinent to Labor & Delivery
  

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement care strategies for laboring mothers, working closely with obstetricians and other healthcare providers
• Monitor vital signs, contractions, and fetal heart rates, making timely interventions as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and intravenous fluids
• Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process
• Document and report patient status, changes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines

Salary: $60,000 to $118,000 /year
