Albany Med Health System seeks a compassionate Clinical Nurse to join Labor & Delivery - D6E for a night shift. The position is 36 hours per week with weekend and holiday commitments, located in Albany, NY.

You will administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments and tests, and collaborate with the nursing team to plan and deliver the Plan of Care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program with Diploma/Associate/Baccalaureate degree.
• Must hold current NYS Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required/maintained.
• Previous PCA or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to pursue continuing education to improve practice.

Responsabilités

• Administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments and tests per orders.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
• Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
• Directs ancillary personnel and maintains professional nursing standards.
