Job summary

Merrimack Health is seeking an L&D Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process for patients with age-specific needs. The role includes directing patient teaching and delegating tasks to the care team in accordance with hospital policy.

Requirements include a BSN, current Massachusetts licensure, and relevant service-specific credentials. ASN with BSN/MSN progression may be considered with CNO approval.

Qualifications

• BSN degree (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required.
• Massachusetts RN licensure current.
• Service-specific credentials, certifications, and experience as specified.
• ASN with enrollment in a BSN/MSN program or equivalent service line experience may be considered with CNO approval.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Hospital Policies and Procedures.
• Provide patient care using the nursing process and age-specific requirements.
• Document care, delegate assignments, and act as a liaison among care teams and physicians.
• Coordinate teaching and discharge planning with patient and family.
