Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for mothers and newborns in a hospital setting. You will manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including fetal monitoring, medication administration, and assisting with deliveries.

You will respond promptly to obstetric emergencies and coordinate with obstetricians and the broader care team.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license is required.
• Strong knowledge of maternal-newborn nursing and obstetric processes.
• Ability to perform fetal monitoring and clinical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care across all labor and delivery phases
• Monitor fetal status and recognize changes requiring intervention
• Administer medications and support safe, appropriate clinical care
• Assist with deliveries and provide emergency response as needed
• Educate and support families while delivering culturally respectful care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Follow strict safety, compliance, and evidence-based practice standards
