Job summary

ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC seeks an experienced Staff Nurse II to provide and coordinate nursing care in alignment with state nursing practice acts and hospital standards. Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, and collaboration with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team to meet outcomes.

This role requires NC RN licensure and BLS, with 2–3 years of labor and delivery experience preferred. The position is 0.9 FTE, night shifts with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support is required.
• 2-3 Years Labor And Delivery Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care, collect and analyze assessment data, and develop a care plan with patient/family.
• Identify interventions to attain outcomes and implement and evaluate progress with the care team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and delegate tasks per NC Nurse Practice Act.
