Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for a 13-week assignment at Miners Colfax Medical Center in Raton, New Mexico. The RN will work night shifts on a 3x12 schedule, focusing on maternal and fetal assessment and obstetric care throughout labor, birth, and recovery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret maternal and fetal status, including electronic fetal monitoring, escalating concerns promptly
• Support patients through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including oxytocin titration as ordered and per facility protocol
• Provide immediate newborn care and support neonatal resuscitation per NRP guidelines

Job description

This Labor and Delivery travel nurse position in Raton, New Mexico, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Miners Colfax Medical Center . This role pays $2,572 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

As the Labor and Delivery registered nurse on this assignment, you'll assess maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal heart-rate patterns, guide patients through every stage of labor, birth, and recovery, and respond to obstetric emergencies as they arise.
