Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Labor & Delivery nurse to join a dedicated maternity team in a dynamic environment. You will provide care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal stabilization, assessing maternal and fetal conditions and supporting delivery methods.

You’ll educate patients and families, create personalized care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, mentor new staff, and participate in quality improvement efforts while maintaining

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license (state-specific or compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient-centered, compassionate care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal stabilization.
• Assess maternal and fetal conditions and interpret fetal monitoring; support various delivery methods.

Role Overview

As a Labor & Delivery nurse, you will provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal stabilization. Your responsibilities include assessing maternal and fetal conditions, interpreting fetal monitoring, supporting various delivery methods, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes. You will also educate and advocate for patients and families, creating personalized care plans and offering emotional support throughout the birth experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license (state-specific or compact)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother-Baby, or Women's Services

Preferred certifications include NRP, ACLS, C-EFM, PALS, and additional Women's Services credentials. Strong communication, teamwork, and commitment to evidence-based practice are essential.
