Job summary

Medical City Weatherford, part of HCA Healthcare, is interviewing for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to support patient care for childbearing clients in a family-centered setting.

The role emphasizes using the nursing process, coordinating care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes within our level I Neonatal Facility and acute-care hospital.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• STABLE certification
• RN license or diploma/associate degree within 60 days of start date.
• No travel required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the care of childbearing clients and families using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and direct all nursing care according to clinical practices.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient outcomes.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Adhere to system standards, MCH guidelines, and nursing department philosophy.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for the delivery of patient care for all childbearing clients and their families in a family-centered setting, by promoting and using the nursing process to meet the needs of the client and their pregnancy. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities. Nursing functions of the Registered Nurse are carried out according to system standards of care, HCA mission statement, and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• STABLE
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program, or Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• No Travel Required
• 2 years experience Required
