Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Project Manager Label Packaging in Alameda, CA, within the Diabetes Care division, to lead labeling strategy, execution, and delivery for digital health tools. You will drive end-to-end labeling updates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory, brand, and product development teams.

You will partner with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing, and PMO to deliver high-quality labeling solutions on time, while identifying risks and leading continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in a technical, quality/QA, or operations setting with project management experience.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting medical devices and IVDs.
• Proven ability to lead people and projects and influence others from an operations and quality perspective.

Responsibilities

• Develop and guide labeling strategy to align with company goals and department activities.
• Balance day-to-day activities to support Artwork and Labeling Development objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Regulatory, Operations, Quality, Marketing) to ensure labeling meets FDA and international requirements.
• Identify and resolve issues, anticipate future problems, and develop alternatives for strategic challenges.
• Create and manage change control packages; coordinate labeling approvals with other departments and sites.
• Supervise a labeling team to foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement of workflows.
