Job summary

Ayr Wellness in Florida is seeking a Labeling Lead to manage scheduling, coordinate with purchasing and production, and ensure all labels are prepared before the work center production schedule.

You will monitor attainment metrics, report late orders to the Sr. Operations Manager, and collaborate with Compliance and Data teams on new product label submissions.

Ideal candidates have operations experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Dutchie systems.

Qualifications

• Operations experience is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with PowerBi.
• Experience with Dutchie.
• Inventory cycle counting experience.
• Data analysis experience.
• Cannabis or agricultural industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Realign schedule as needed to provide the most accurate information and optimize work center efficiency.
• Minimize line downtime due to material and/or inventory issues in collaboration with purchasing and production.
• Gathers data to maintain Attainment and Adherence Metrics; monitor Status assignments in Dutchie for material transfers.
• Communicate regularly with the Sr. Operations Manager about late orders or issues hindering on-time delivery.
• Ensure all labels and materials are prepared prior to work center production schedule.
• Coordinate with Data Analyst and Production Leads to understand material availability for Pre-Convert.
• Schedule weekly touchpoints with Packaging/Infusion managers to review run times.
• Maintain communication with Inventory Team to identify new SKUs for Dutchie with label templates.
• Work with Compliance and Sr. Ops Manager on new product label submissions and provide samples.

Job Summary

The Labeling Lead

• Realign schedule as needed to provide the most accurate information and optimize work center efficiency.
• Works with purchasing and production to minimize line downtime due to material and/or inventory issues.
• Gathers data to maintain Attainment and Adherence Metrics. Monitor Status assignments in Dutchie to confirm materials produced transfer to PBI.
• Communicate regularly with the Sr. Operations Manager about late orders or other issues that are hindering on-time delivery.
• Ensure all labels and materials are prepared prior to work center production schedule.
• Coordinate with the Data Analyst and Production Leads responsible for formulating to understand material available to Pre-Convert.
• Schedule weekly touchpoints with Packaging/Infusions managers to review estimated time required per work center based on standard run rates.
• Maintain a good communication path with the Inventory Team to identify new sku’s that need added to Dutchie for upcoming production along with templates for labels.
• Work with Compliance and Sr. Ops Manager on new product label submissions and provide samples as needed.

Working conditions

• The person in this position may be exposed to dust, kief, cleaning chemicals and fumes. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree.
• Frequently works in rooms with bright light where eye protection is required.
• Frequently works in rooms with moderate heat and humidity.
• The person in this position is constantly exposed to moderate background noise due to environmental systems, equipment and fans.

Physical requirements

• Prolonged sitting, standing and / or walking motion/movement will be required throughout the shift.
• Constant movement of hands/fingers and limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
• Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to inspect/maintain plants.
• Occasionally operates power hand tools and other cultivation machinery.
• Must be able to inspect and detect quality deviations and defects.
• Occasional lifting, positioning or moving items up to 50 pounds.
