Job summary

HANOVER FOODS CORPORATION seeks a detail-oriented Labeling Inventory Coordinator to manage labeling materials inventory, process orders, and document activity to support production schedules and customer requirements.

In this role you will work closely with Warehouse and Labeling teams to maintain accurate records, forecast needs, and ensure timely deliveries and compliant labeling. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected, along with strong math, communication, and multi-tasking skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing labeling materials or similar inventory control.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

  • Performs inventory control transactions for labeling materials, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Verifies cycle counts and investigates discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Completes monthly inventories for assigned vendors and labeling materials.
  • Manages customer-specific printed labels including storage, tracking, and usage documentation.
  • Maintains proper storage practices for labels, cartons, and related materials, resolving space or organization issues with Warehouse and Labeling teams.
  • Reviews labels before ordering to ensure accuracy, correct ingredients, and compliance with specifications.
  • Processes label deliveries including receiving, verifying, and documenting incoming materials.
  • Pulls label samples as needed for internal review, customer requests, or quality checks.
  • Checks labels for correct ingredients and regulatory accuracy, updating documentation as needed.
  • Maintains labeling documentation, records, and files including digital and physical storage.
  • Updates labeling spreadsheets to reflect current inventory, deliveries, and usage.
  • Prepares monthly reports related to labeling materials, inventory activity, or vendor requirements.
  • Assists with forecasting of labeling materials based on production trends and historical usage.
  • Works with Labeling and Warehouse teams to resolve material needs, storage issues, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Coordinates with Production Planning on material availability and labeling requirements.
  • Supports Sales or Customer Service when label-related questions or customer-specific materials require clarification.
  • Receives and ships packages via UPS/FedEx as needed for labeling materials or customer label shipments.
  • Maintains a neat, organized work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.
  • Adheres to all safety practices and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent math skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of basic inventory control principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Warehouse, Labeling, and Production teams
