MiTek Industries, Inc. is seeking an inventory control specialist to manage production labels, track materials, and ensure inventory accuracy.
You will operate Zebra printers, SAP-based transactions, RF scanners, and related tools to support labeling, packaging, and material visibility across the facility. You will verify data integrity, reconcile counts, and collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Purchasing, and Planning teams.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing production labels, inventory transactions, material tracking, and inventory accuracy activities that support manufacturing operations. Operates Zebra printing systems, ERP software (SAP preferred), RF scanners, and inventory management tools to ensure accurate labeling, inventory control, packaging support, and material visibility throughout the facility. Performs inventory transactions, cycle counts, reconciliation activities, and physical inventory support while maintaining accurate records and supporting production schedules.

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow work instructions and procedures. Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments. Ability to prepare and maintain accurate inventory documentation.
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Perform inventory calculations and quantity reconciliations accurately.
Analyze inventory discrepancies and determine root causes. Apply sound judgment when processing inventory transactions and resolving issues.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems. Ability to use RF scanners, inventory reporting systems, and label printing software. Strong data entry and recordkeeping skills.
Strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to balance system inventory with physical inventory verification. Strong problem-solving and inventory reconciliation skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
