Summary:

Responsible for maintaining customer-owned labels and KDC/one production supplies within the designated area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain organized and timely storage of customer labels.
  • Manage inventory of customer items and communicate inventory status to customers and production planning.
  • Receive, store, and dispense labels to production lines efficiently.
  • Assist with production and storage of rubber stamps and stencils for case lot identification.
  • Code labels manually or via machine as required.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance or Customer Service for coding and obtain necessary codes from QAD system.
  • Maintain customer code logs for sequential coding.
  • Prepare tickets for production and shipping, including barcodes, stamps, and computer entries.
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment in the Label Room.
  • Issue and restock supplies such as gloves, aprons, and hairnets.
  • Accurately weigh and count labels for inventory control.
  • Assist on the assembly floor with tasks such as copying and packaging.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Effective communication and comprehension skills.
  • Basic math and English skills, including good spelling.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills.
