Job summary

MCC in Kentucky is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. Experience is not required but a bonus. The role includes a 2-2-3 rotating schedule and responsibilities such as ensuring print/seam quality and handling rolls.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions.
• Ability to use simple Windows-based applications.
• The physical demands require standing, using hands, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements include color, distance, depth perception, and focus.

Responsibilities

• Continuously checks for print and seam quality.
• Removes defective material and splices the roll web per specification.
• Uses ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing.
• Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage.
• Understands basic printing and seam-related defects.
• Records data on paperwork and in the Globetek system.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Willing to learn and drive a forklift when needed.
